Illustrate your IDEAS on energy security through our Reels competition!
The Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC) is pleased to announce the PYC Reels Competition to recognize the valuable contributions from energy enthusiasts in elevating the actions and collaboration to enhance energy transition. This competition will be held for several months prior to the conference. The program aims to promote the conference and provide platforms for those interested in energy, environment, and sustainability and voicing their ideas.
For this competition, participants can submit their reels of the following energy topics:
- Sustainable Energy Investment
- Environment and Climate Change
- Energy Security
- Circular Economy
- Green Economy
- Electricity and Energy Storage
- Energy Efficiency and Conservation
- Dynamics and Geopolitics of Energy Transition
- The Role of Fossil Energy in the Energy Transition
- The Future of Electric Vehicles and Material Resources
- Human Capital Readiness and Green Job to Energy Transition
- Gender Equality and Social Inclusion on Energy Transition
- Decarbonizing the Industry Sector
- Electrifying the Frontier, Remote and Disadvantaged Area
- Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage
General Guidelines:
- The reels competition is open to general public. There is no fee associated with the registration or submission.
- Evaluation criteria:
- Creativity (20%): Originality and innovative presentation.
- Visualisation (30%): Clarity, design quality, and accessibility for the general audience.
- Inspiration (20%): Ability to motivate and engage viewers with the idea.
- Content Quality (30%): Depth, relevance, and accuracy of the information presented.
- Format and technical requirements:
- Duration of reels should be between 1 to 3 minutes long.
- Orientation of reels should be of vertical orientation (9:16 aspect ratio) for Instagram compatibility and the resolution of minimum 1080 x 1920 pixels.
- Reels must be narrated in English.
- Participations in this competition can be of personal or team entry (maximum of 3 persons).
- Each participant/team is only allowed to submit one reels.
- Reference and sources must be of reliable sources.
- By submitting a Reels, participant acknowledged and agreed that PYC will own the rights to the submitted work.
Submission:
Please submit your reels to https://bit.ly/IEC2025COMPETITION in a MP4 or other format of video with a maximal file size of 20 MB and named: “Name_Title_Institution”, prior to 16 June 2025
Prize
Judge’s choices will be awarded according to the following:
- 1st winner: IDR 4.000.000 + certificate
- 2nd winner: IDR 3.500.000 + certificate
- 3rd winner: IDR 3.000.000 + certificate
For the Example: Reels
Favorite Winner
Other than the three winners decided by judges, we will also award a favourite winner through public voting, represented by the number of likes and shares of your photo or reels uploaded on our social media.
Three weeks after the submission deadline, you will receive a social media link containing your photos or reels that you can share to gather likes and shares until 26 July 2025 at 17.00 Western Indonesian Time.
