Taking an image and preserving the moment reveals how rich reality truly is! Submit your photos on the energy sector in Indonesia to our PYC Photo Competition. The Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC) is pleased to announce the PYC Photo Competition to recognize the valuable contribution from energy enthusiasts in elevating the actions and collaboration to enhance the energy transition. This competition will be held for several months prior to the conference. The program aims to promote the conference and provide platforms for those interested in energy, environment, and sustainability and voicing their ideas.
For this competition, participants can submit their photos of the following energy themes:
- Sustainable Energy
- Energy Security
- Energy, Technology and Environment
- Human Capital Readiness and Green Job
- Energy Transition
- Green Energy and Financing
- Green Economy
- Circular Economy
- Climate Change
General Guidelines:
- The photo competition is open to general public. There is no fee associated with the registration or submission.
- Evaluation criteria for every photo submission:
- Creativity (25%): Originality and innovative presentation.
- Inspiration (25%): The photo’s ability to engage and motivate viewers
- Content quality (50%): Depth, relevance, and storytelling power of the image.
- Give a one-sentence as a title and 1 paragraph of caption to describe your photo.
- Participations for this competition are limited to personal entry.
- One participant can submit a maximum of three photos.
- Participants are highly expected to submit high-quality photos.
- Only basic editing tools are allowed (brightness, temperature, saturation, and cropping).
- The submitted photo(s) must be of your own creation using a digital camera or phone camera (film camera, AI-generated, and animated photos are not allowed).
- By submitting a photo, participant acknowledged and agreed that PYC will own the rights to the submitted work.

Please submit your photo to https://bit.ly/IEC2025COMPETITION in a JPEG file named: “Name_Title_Institution”, prior to 16 June 2025.
Prize
Judge’s choices will be awarded according to the following:
- 1st winner: IDR 4.000.000 + certificate
- 2nd winner: IDR 3.500.000 + certificate
- 3rd winner: IDR 3.000.000 + certificate
Favorite Winner
Other than the three winners decided by judges, we will also award a favourite winner through public voting, represented by the number of likes and shares of your photo or reels uploaded on our social media.
Three weeks after the submission deadline, you will receive a social media link containing your photos or reels that you can share to gather likes and shares until 26 July 2025 at 17.00 Western Indonesian Time.
